Working Principle
The plate and frame filter press uses the pressure difference between the plate and frame and the filtration effect of the filter cloth to separate the solids and liquids in the solid-liquid mixture. During the filtration process, by applying a certain pressure and forming a filter cake, it achieves efficient solid-liquid separation.
1. Pressing: Apply pressure through the hydraulic system to seal the plates.
2. Feeding: Suspension is pumped in, forming a filter cake on the cloth.
3. Pressing: Maintain stable filtration speed as resistance increases.
4. Washing: Rinse water passes through the cake to remove impurities.
5. Unloading: Open plates and remove the dry filter cake.
